Achieving THE thin strat tone

I'm closing up shop on my vintage equipment escapades, and with the cash i get from ebaying this stuff ill get my twin. I'm looking to achieve a chimier, thinner strat tone. My new setup in a month will be-

am deluxe strat w/ surfers (currently have a custom 11's set from juststrings.com)

65 reissue fender twin reverb

Are you shure you want to use 11s for that tone? I'd say D'Addario 9s would be a good choice.

I use 9's on my Strat and it's awfully whispery sounding.

deal. I'm moving to 10's.

Or ill make myself a custom set with a 10 for the E string and a 9's type set for the rest on just strings.com
