mahogany typically will have a more middy tone, rosewood a deeper bass

never heard of the brand

My best Guitar buddy, has a Mahoganny Martin. It plays beautifully, and sounds great.

It looks terrible, the wood wears from pic scratches really easily, and on the two occasions it's been knocked over at a gig, the resulting hole has had to be repaired!

Sounds great - Not that practical in my opinion if you want an expensive guitar to really last!

Jeremy's tonal description is A1. Strangely My mate is also a Jeremy!

as mentioned, jeremy has the tonal description spot on. I find that regular sized mahogany guitars record way better if you are mic'ing it, whereas 000 sized rosewood guitars seem to sound better mic'd.

well i dont record or even play live yet. so im just down fo jammin with friend the brand is an east australian hand made - semi hand made? acoustic company. look goo but are cheaper than you usual brand names and i assume because its not a brand name... i think i might think about it and have a look around some more thanks.
