Active 18 volt pickups.. Livewire metal

Im considering the Seymour Duncan LW-HMET Livewire Metal Humbucker for my Jackson Warrior and I'm wondering if any one here that owns this pickup can tell me if it's a pain to replace the batteries... What's the battery life like? Is it difficult to replace? etc. I'd really like to know what everyone thinks about this pickup.

I don't have them, but it should not be that difficult to switch batteries. Just taking off the plate in the back. Might be alittle more difficult if you have to remove the pickguard (more screws). I'm not sure of the time.

I have read that you need to make sure you have room for 2 9-volt batteries in the guitars cavity.
