yup, that'll work. The only "downside" is that you cannot use the emg and the passive at same time since the passive will not be contributing to the tone as it's output is swamped by the 25k vol pot. The good thing is that the both on option is useless anyway so not being able to use bad sounding switch position is hardly a bad thing.

Well that's the problem with Active/Passive wiring. I don't use Mid position anyway. I was going to buy Black Outs for my old Dean Cadi, but I got an EMG 85 in the Bridge and I was going to put a 12B Screamin' Demon in the Neck. Maybe I'll just save up and try the black outs?

get a emg pa2 booster switch. wire it too the passive. that way the volumes will match. i did it with my blackout and duncan 59
