I'm getting ready to re-wire my Strat XII with a master tone (50s style) and a blender pot from Fralin. I tweaked the Fralin diagram slightly and I believe this is now correct for what I'm after:
My question is, where might I find advice on how to add series switching to this? I don't like push-pull pots but I'm totally fine with adding all the mini switches I can fit.
I don't need Dan Armstrong-level craziness of every possible position either, just thinking of adding whichever series options are useful and straightforward to execute.
I imagine the best-sounding one for a Strat XII would be bridge and neck in series like the Johnny Marr Jaguar.
I know the old Electric XII also had an out-of-phase switch position. Not sure if that would sound good on a Strat XII with APS 2s, but if anyone thinks differently I'm interested enough to try it out too.
