Hi there, I'm new to the forum and thought you fellow Seymour Duncaners could possibly help.
I just bought a JB Jr for Strat and I'm finding that i'm not able to adjust the pickup height because the holes for the screws either side of the pickup have been threaded. This means that when i screw the pickup in place it can never rise against the shaft of the screw because it's always being held in place.
The only advantage of this threading is for guitars with pickguards right? Because I can't see what I'm meant to do without a pickguard, other than get a new pickup.
