Advice on Litttle 59 bridge with neck pickup

I recently put in a lil 59 in my Squier telecaster bridge and it rocks. Just wanting to know what neck pick up I should use. Looking for a twang but with good rhythm lows so it will pair with the 59. Please help someone. Thanks

If you're willing to change out the pickguard and do some potential routing, a P90 will rock in the neck. If not, I'd say a Quarter Pound neck would also work.

Welcome to the forum!
Thing is, the twang of a tele isn't really the neck pickup. But do you want a traditional neck pickup, or something else entirely?

I guess I am looking for a full hot sound. I play a lot of lead on the neck pickup/bridge mid position. Just don’t want a strong pickup and a weak one in neck but also don’t want the humbucker stacked coil that Seymour Duncan recommends.

Also what are the benefits of putting in a different volume pot? Don’t know anything about the electronics just seen where some guys talk about changing them out

Worry about the pots after you've put the pickups in and tried them out.

You mean you don't want one of these?

Do you not want one of these either?

Another question should I use 500k pots? I have 250 in right now and qtr2 / hot for Tele in the neck.

I think you can start with 250k. If you think it doesn't sound bright enough you can move to 500k, but I'd start with 250k.
