Hello everyone, i have just recently started upgrading all of my gear so pups are next on the list. I play mostly hardcore with melodic influences (Misery Signals, Means, Underoath, The Bled, GlassJaw, Poison The Well, Hopesfall, etc.) I think i have an idea on what pups I'm looking for but I'm torn between 2 sets... either the
SH-6 B and SH-2 N
or
SH-5 B and SH-1 N
My gear includes...
Washburn WI66V mahogany 1 piece with rosewood fingerboard.
X2 Digital Wireless > Peterson Strobostomp2 > DC Solidmetal > DC Demonizer > BBE Sonic Stomp > Decimator NR pedal > Traynor YCV40WR with 112 Ext Cab. And all planetwaves cabling if anyone cares.
What do you think would be the best pickup combo based on this amp and guitar... any input would be appreciated thanx alot
Clarity in distortion is a must especially for chording, and for thoes hardcore emotional melodic sections!
