This one's different from my other two LP's in that it has an all mahogany body (no maple cap) in Black Beauty. Nickle hardware, brass shaft pots, bone nut, grover tuners, fat neck. It does have a poly finish UNLIKE my Gibson's nitro finish.
My Epi LP came alive with 59b and A2ProN. ( a little unbalanced though)
Like to set this one up a little different.
I seem to lean toward the more vintage stuff for tone. Although I had a Schecter C-1 Plus with a JazzN that was nice. I play rock, blues, classic rock. I like some bite but I like to clean up in the neck for some chimey, spacey delay soaked solos as well. Want it to crunch and I want it slightly overdrive. Think Skynyrd, Collective Soul, Billy Gibbons, Who's Next, AC/DC, Aerosmith ('70's), Creedence, BB King, Tab Benoit, Tinsley Ellis, Fab Thunderbirds, Gov't Mule, 10 Years After, you get the idea.
