Hey guys, I think I ordered the wrong pup. I'm putting a Duckbucker in the middle and just noticed I ordered it for the bridge. Should I stop the order or will it work? I only have two choices neck or bridge.

The specs are so close between the bridge and neck versions that I think you should be OK. DC Resistance is 2.6k (n) vs 3k (b). The one you're gettting will be a tad brighter, but the output is the same. Shoul be no problem.

Yeah, should be fine. Bridge models in the middle sound really sweet. If anything it should match up with the bridge pickup in position 4 better.

probably a happy accident ... i have the duck (neck model) in the middle of an HSH guitar ... love the tone, but it needed to be raised way up close to the strings in order to get good tone ... this resulted in a pronounced dropping off of the volume when i bent a string .. it would start out loud enough, but as i bent the string, the string would move out of the 'focus' point of those teeny tiny pole pieces ... you will be able to run the pup a bit lower than i am, so you should have a 'larger' focus spot ...

if i had it to do all over again, i'd probably just buy a vintage rails and not have the problem at all

some guys never play bent note solos with the middle pup, preferring it for chimey or 'quacky' chords (works great for that) .. if this is you, you wont have any trouble at all

Thanks guys. I can always send it back and put Vintage Rails(my first choice) in it right? We have 21 days to determine if we like it IIRC.
