My number one dislike in a neck pickup is mud and boom, and the CC3 neck surprisingly yielded neither in the neck of my double fat Strat

I'd say it is my number one loud pickup, if the Distortion and SuperD did not exist. But it is right up there with them.

It's definitely one of the pillars of "this works all the time", good at everything, but so is a JB and DD.....sometimes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

You know, I don't like the JB near as much as I used to for some reason. I guess to me it will always sound okay, but there's always something better for a given instrument
