Alex Lifeson Epi

I would jump all over that if it wasn't for my loathing of Floyd Roses lol. My Kahler drove me crazy back in the day (play the beginning of Bad Motor Scooter and it's out of tune), don't even want to imagine a FR.

Steve that is freakin beautiful. I have so many places in the set I could use that guitar. What kind of pickups are in it?

Sweet. It's interesting that it has two output jacks and a battery box. But they don't really say anything about what that's all about.

From Epiphone's product page:

"The Alex Lifeson Les Paul Axcess Standard carries powerful Epiphone Ceramic Pro neck and ProBucker 3 bridge pickups with coil-splitting options via their push-pull volume controls and a Graph Tech Ghost Floyd Rose system that not only provides the world's most efficient vibrato but is also loaded with Ghost piezo bridge saddles. Access traditional magnetic humbucker tones, mix it up with coil-split options, tap the Ghost's realistic acoustic tones, or blend acoustic and magnetic voices — the sky's the limit from this sonic chameleon, whose sound-shifting depths are virtually limitless. You can route it all through a traditional mono jack or use two cables for individual magnetic and piezo outputs."

It comes with two Epi pickups - a ceramic in the bridge I think and alnico in the neck. Both splittable. Add in the piezo bridge and it should sound pretty amazing.

This guitar for under a grand?! Holy smokes. That's insane. Swap the pickups and tuners for a set of your liking and you're good to go. That trem system is already like, 250 retail if not more?

Kudos for Epiphone.

Now this would be a great model to pull from the GG Epi room (which is supposed to host every single current Epi model) for trying some Mesa heads.

I'm not much on the look of this model, but that's a good price for what you get in today's market.
