alinco pro II bridge bucker in the neck?

Ive read that the bridge aph is only a slightly hotter version of the neck pup. Otherwise there are no differences. Anyone confirm this? I ordered a neck pup and got a bridge from a fleabay shop.

Got a lovely CC in the bridge of my Carvin CT, had other gear problems and havent had the chance to drop the EVH in yet but I will! As an aside,
I discovered the VHT deliverance just wasnt for me and ended up spending a lot of time finding a better amp. For those of you like me who love the JCM 800 era tones the Mesa Boogie Ace is a GREAT find. Try one and be happy.

never tried that specifically but youre right that the bridge is a slightly hotter but similar pup. many people put bridge pups in the neck for a slightly darker higher output tone

Its only like .2K difference vs the neck APH so it will be not that noticeably different than the neck version. There was a thread about it a few days ago! Go back a few pages.

hotter I was expecting, but darker? So beefed up vintage neck pups like this one aren't just colder versions of the same thing then. Interesting.

Its only like .2K difference vs the neck APH so it will be not that noticeably different than the neck version. There was a thread about it a few days ago! Go back a few pages.

I think I read that thread. If they went into anything other than the .2k difference I must've missed it, should've just bumped that thread. Sorry.

My A2P bridge measures 8.2 and it still sounds good in the neck slot.

Here are the specs,

Neck : 7.6 k
Bridge : 7.85 k

Granted those are the resistances listed but, they can probally vary by 5-10%. I am sure by the varying amounts, some APH necks are actually hotter than some bridges!
The bridge is probally just a bit darker if you could notice much of a difference at all!

I have a AP2 Bridge in the neck of my V. It sounds fine.
