All analouge stuff..

Well....not really much, just switching stuff in and out, first pork loin, then swollen pickle, then to fat sandwich, I think I keep it that way, anyways not hard to tell apart....
CS-2, HF-2, Pork Loin, Swollen Pickle, Fat Sandwich, ADRX-20, CE-3 modded, was abit on the thin side before, use the one side effect, the other dry setting...like the wide sound it makes that way.
And at work I only use my old RE-201 in a parallel looper now....hehe
Navigator strat.
Vox AC-15C1 and Laney VC-15 with a Jensen 10" speaker.

Re: All analouge stuff..

That pickle is groovy hey?
I did some mods to my ce3 (more hifi and extra speed and depth on tap) but it still did not sound as thick as the ce2....any tips?

Re: All analouge stuff..

all that modern circuitboard analog stuff gives me the creeps on a lot of these pedals .
I opened up my Vox Over the Top Bost and got rid of it right away. Thin traces, computer circuitboard style circuitry with thin wiring.
Give me old style circuitboard style or hard wired!

I like my Pickle , its a vintage style sound I remeber form lots of cheesy old 70's tracks.. One trick pony ( pony pickle?) but does that trick really really well. Wont use it much at all, but nice to know its there.

Man if you think the Swollen Pickle MkII is a one trick pony...then you must not even tried turning the knobs, haha. Theres ALOT of fuzz sounds in there.

Hmm actually it was sometime ago I modded it, totally forgot what I did...but I'll open it up and take a few picturs if you like:)

Re: All analouge stuff..

dont go to any trouble vasshu. theres no point in opening it up. It will take time and effort and you may not even rememeber which caps are different etc. Thanks for the offer tho, i appreciate it!

Re: All analouge stuff..

The cap is a 220uF poly.
The resistors are two 22k...
It makes it dirtier...which also makes it fatter.
Pictures in a minute!
Easy to spot parts, I used blue resistors, and the cap is glaring at you:D
Dunno if you want to try it....
As I do not like clean hifi'sh chorus very much...
Same with my org CE-2...it is also nice and fat....and slightly dirty...
And oh changed the OP-Amps to a LF-353 version....do not like 4558's much either.
:D
