Alnico 2 rods, height adjustment.

A2 rods on a strat pup will have less pull right? Therefore I can adjust them closer to the strings right? And get a more focused sound on the low strings right?

Right, but dont adjust them too close. If you're looking for more of a focused sound, try a EQ, and set the pickup to the sweet spot in the guitar. Plus, it might be alot of trouble to try and get a focused tone from a A2 mag. Good luck.
