Alnico strat pickups ´80´s help to identify

cellarstrat

Hi , I have a middle and neck Seymour Duncan Alnico strat pickups , I took these out of a Strat and installed the Suhr ML Classics, the bridge has a SD JB that was installed also at the same time in the 80´s (fyi with coil tap switch and paralel 3 way or whatever it does ) .

Looking at installing these on another guitar but wondered what exactly they are ...I remember the tech saying Alnico Pro , do the numbers SD 2 87 mean anything on the pickup as only one sticker l R remain?

Thanks

Hi, the only sticker I believe means RW and the other with no sticker , the stamping SD then 2 maybe thats Alnico 2 and the 87 maybe year of manufacture ? I will load pictures tomorrow as late now . Many thanks in the meantime .

Would they be good paired with an SSL5 , I bought an SSL 5 years ago in box never used ...also saw a Suhr v63+ (The renamed ML Standard) which might be better choice . By the way , although I swapped those SDuncans for the ML Suhr Classics myself DIY , it highlighted the similiarities in both those pickups , the Suhr maybe bit brighter and bigger sound .
