alright more guitar thoughts

instead of making another guitar that is for the same purpose as my RG, I think i'm gonna change the neck to a rosewood and see how that sounds. If i don't like it atleast i will know where i stand with that. I am hoping for less of a twangy sound and more of a singing tone.

i don't really think fretboard material contributes to twang too much

I think he's talking about the actual neck, not the fingerboard.

If that's correct, I'd imagine a substancially darker and less chimey tone if transferring from maple or some other brighter wood. Less twang...I'd put my buck on it.
