Alternative to Custom Soapbar? Hot SoapBar? Lollar?

Hi!

I am using Custom Soapbars in two of my guitars. I am now considering changing my Gibson P90 in the bridge position of my Les Paul to a SD Custom Soapbar or similar. I know I like the Custom Soapbar. But how would you describe Hot Soapbar in comparison to Custom Soapbar.

I am also interested in Lollar as maker. Do they make anything similar to the Custom Soapbar.

I really love the Custom Soapbar, but before I use the same pickup in a third guitar I thought that I should consider the alternatives.

the hot is similar to the custom in some ways. nice punchy rock and roll tone. the hot sounds a little more open but maybe a nicer mid range.

the lollar p90s ive heard arent really vintage but they were more like more modern takes on a vintage p90 rather than a hotter pup

I prefer the Hot P90 to the Custom.. both are similar output wise, but the Hot seems a bit warmer and fatter and open. .. the Custom is a little more "modern" and "compressed" sounding. Both are good though, depending on what you're looking for.
