Alternatives to an alnico2 in a 3PU SG

Hey, i have a 3 Pickup SG... and ive put alnico2s in the bridge and middle... im looking for a little more bite and power from the bridge... what do you recomend?? a custom custom?? im looking for something quite articulated and not muddy for heavyish prog music

the cc has more power but not alot of bite and isnt the most articulate pup. a custom might fit the bill. crunchy with good power and articulation

+1. Custom or a C5 will give you some muscle. I use 250K's on my C5's & that shaves off the excess treble & brings out the mids. Nice meaty tone with plenty of bite.
