There was a thread within the past couple of weeks on cleaning tolex. As for scratchy pots, that contact from musicians friend is what you want. You may be able to find it cheaper at other places though.

I just went to radio shack for some electronic contact cleaner, that should work fine for the pots. I think it doesn't have any silicone in it so it should be safe on guitar finishes. Trying spinning the pots for awhile to see if you gets rid of the crackling.

Tuner cleaner for pots actually. Contact cleaner for jacks.

I try to do my amps about once a year. Marshall's pots and jacks get dirty pretty fast.

I always recommend Murphy's Oil Soap mixed with warm water and a soft brush, sponge, and towel for the tolex. If you work on that silver tolex, you can make it look as good as it did in 87.

Make sure you always use a soft cotton cloth to clean the silver chassis front.
It scratches really easily, and even a paper towel is too rough for it.

Oh, I forgot to tell you guys. This combo STILL has the plastic sheet over the silver face that came when the amp was new. The chassis face is mint!

That's a definite bonus for collectibility sake. Very few people kept the plastic on the chassis. It looks so much better with it off, but then you're risking scratches.
