My fellow bandmate has a Peavey Ecoustic Amp 112. It within the past month it started to act up. Now bear in mind that we checked cables, guitar batteries, the various phase switches and reverb controls on the amp to conclude its something internal with the amp. The amp is all solid state with a reverb tank.
When he plays it there is a delayed volume swell from the amp. The sound coming through the amp is almost a half second off of what it should be. The sound produced by the amp is clear and has no crackling or noise. It does it with every setting. With reverb, no reverb its all the same. It just this weird delayed volume swell. Any ideas?
