Hey...
I have been looking at madamp amp kits, as I have been experimenting with the idea of building myself a amp head.
I want the tone as close to the drive channel of a Mesa/Boogie Mark IIC+, does any of the Madamp kits resemble that sound?
Other places online where I can get kits for about 350 bucks like Madamps?
Either that, or I was thinking of a Valve Junior Head and modifying it, but would even get close to the gain of the Boogie with new tubes etc?
Other kit amps, thats close to the old Metallica sound, but still has options to get my own tone out of it (MoP/Justice For All, with a flavour of their current live sound) ?
Of course theres a lot more to that sound, but I think this could be fun, both for my education and to be getting a kick ass amp.
