amp masters and slaves

I have never messed around with slaving an amp before, and was curious about the process. I have a Peavey Bandit 112 solo series that sounds quite good but I can't crank it too loud or the sound gets grumbly. I have a B-52 AT-100 and a 4x12 cab sitting here, and was curious about what I would have to do, if it was possible to use the B-52 in some way so I can run the peavey through the cabinet.

Thanks in advance!

Unplug the speaker from the Bandit, connect a mono 1/4" jack to the connectors (might fit perfectly, if not, you can always use nippers to trim down the connectors on the jack) and plug the 4x12 into it.

Doublecheck the Ohm rating to make sure they match up, but it should be fine. You won't be using the AT-100 head at all in this case.

when I did it, I believe I plugged into my marshall lead 12, then ran out the line out of it into the effects return on my randall. the marshall's speaker was still active, but I could use the randall to adjust the level on that side. I need to do it again, it was pretty cool.

Even though it's SS, I'd still watch the impedance if you run directly into the cab and make sure it matches up.
