Amp modeler guys...

What kind of settings do you use for your vintage Fender/Vox/Marshall sounds? My favorite lower gain models are the Fender Tweeds, AC30 top boost, and the Marshall Plexis.

I've got the Soldano & Mesa eq all figured out, but the single coil/lower gain sounds are new to me. Any help?

I'm using a Behringer V-Amp 2, but would like advice from any amp modeler brand user :D

Re: Amp modeler guys...

Fender: I use the Tweed Deluxe model the most. I use this for (shock) most of my high gain sounds as it gets a really saturated distortion. EQ's will vary depending on what speaker setting it's going through. But the gain is on full. For single coils I'll use the Blackface settings
Vox: I don't use the Vox models to much, but when I do I tend to leave the EQ flat and the gain at 15%
Marshall: The JTM 45 settings I usually flatten the Eq and then slightly raise the highs a small amount and then adjust the others from there. The Plexi settings the bass goes down, mids and highs go up but not to 100%. Gain - JTM 30%, Plexi 100%

But that's with a Line 6 Flex 2

Re: Amp modeler guys...

Well, that depends on which modeler you are using. I could help you with POD but they wont translate to the Behringer.
