Amp Question(Tube Content)

ok, now before I bring my amp to a tech....I Just want to make sure......If my amps Power and Standby are on...with no volume or anything...and I start hearing a Faint *Crackle* and *Pop*....My Preamp Tubes Are Going Correct??...I sure hope so...But either Way My amp's still Under Warranty.....(along with the Tubes 90 day warranty)
