I decided to try out a Marshall finally to see what all the fuss was about !
(Rental was free due to some delayed orders, insignificant)
I saw a nice MG50FX, it seemed to be big enough for band practice, gigs, but also good for quiet playing. Decided to take that one home for now.
Pros:
- Makes my Strat roar, gets such big chugging sounds
- Makes the sound so much thicker, and fuller compared to my Frontman 25R (i know its crappy
don't need comments about it) but its pretty much the same as my Vox VT40+, i prefer the Vox much more.
- Very simple to use
- sounds awesome on clean channel as well
- It can crank, and rock your balls off
Cons:
- Weighs a ton
- Only has Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, and Delay for the effects
This is the impression i got after 1.5 - 2 hours of playing it.
