Amp speaker configs?

Hi All,

General question. Say a manufacture makes a certain model of amp. Everything is the same except the speaker configuration. Say they offer it in 1X15 , 1 X12 and 2 X 10. I know there could be other factors to consider (ie. speaker brands..etc..) But generally out of the three:

1. Which one would give the brightest tones?

2. Which one would have the most bottom end (I guess this is covered in #1 above?)

3. Which would be the loudest?

Sorry if this has been discussed before...

almost all those things are dependant on what speakers are used

It's an interesting question. Most bass cabs are 10". But I've heard good things about "1x15" guitar cabs. :scratchch
