Re: amps

Ehhh.... what sort of music do you play? And what setup have you got at the moment? Bandit is a decent amp, though.

Re: amps

i play anything from lapton to mettalica. mostly anything slash plays but i dont have money for a amrshall. i was thinkin about a crate powerblock setup maybe. i have 2 guitars a jackson rr3 and a squier strat i use both.

Re: amps

Well, I think the Behringer V-ampire LX112 may be a good amp for you. I almost ordered one, but I just couldn't buy one without playing it first. There's also the Vox Valvetrionix series of amps. Both of those amps I mentioned will do high gain, as well as clean and in between. I just bought a Peavey Classic 30. It is probably one of the best sounding amps I've played. It won't do super high gain without some kind of boost but it has the sweetest crunch to it. I will reveiw it when it gets here. Just some options for you, hope I helped :)

Re: amps

You could get a Marshall AVT for that sort of money. The peavey would be decent for them too, though. I think, though, your best bet is a valvetronix or v-ampire.

Re: amps

hey! I got a pretty much new roland cube 60 im selling, Im sure it'd be great for ya!

Check the link in my sig!

Re: amps

Definitely shop used in that price range, I'd personally look into the Line 6 Flextone series. Pretty good amps for both practice and jam situations.
