Re: An Eden's Way Song

I think it sounds pretty good . . . not terribly impressed with the lyrics, and it sounds like there's a lot of compression on the song, but the guitars, bass and drum are all tight and sound great. Nice track!

Re: An Eden's Way Song

Guitar tone and playing are excellent!

GuitarStv is right - the mix sounds a bit squashed. Drums are well recorded, but the song would rock so much more if the drummer had some more energy and took more chances with his fills. This is the type of tune that could benefit from a great drum performance.

Lyrics ... I've heard worse. That's all I'll say.

Re: An Eden's Way Song

I counted the word "you" 32 times in the song. That's 8.4 times per minute, or once every 7.125 seconds.

Your solo was pretty good. Everything else was merely ok. I completely agree about the drumming, drumming is the heart of the song (literally) and you gotta be able to hear that. I can hear the beat of every good song I know in my head, I just listened to your like 2 minutes ago and can't remember ever hearing a defined beat.

Re: An Eden's Way Song

If you guys intend to be a 80`s band you should make
the chorus larger :) Some open cords with half gain doubled a couple of times
sounds good on a 80`s track. Don`T make the riffs too strong on the chorus.
I think you should leave some space for the bass, the guitars steals from the bass frequency and make the lower mids sound a bit muddy.
Other than that and the lyrics thing i think you guys have a lot to offer,The singer has a nice voice, the drummer is ok and you DO know how to make the axe scream :D
