An ICX120 needs new pickups.....

Yes, I know, replacing pickups in a guitar like this seems pretty ridiculous.
But the guitar has a lot of sentimental value to me and I would like to be able to get a semi-reasonable tone out of it.

The body wood is Basswood (Ibanez seems to like it a lot) with a bolt on maple neck, with a rosewood fretboard.

I was thinking maybe something to the effect of a C5 in the bridge, with a 59 in the neck, typical play on PAF's, but I'm unsure of what horrors that might potentially unleash.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Believe me, I will.
And thank you for the reply.

Is that sound to be a fair combination, considering the wood, etc?

I'm really more of a blues kinda guy, but I sometimes branch out into a bluesy metal mix.
think Danzig, without the ceramic harmonics, or muscles. ;P

All being said and done, I'm considering dropping in a Tonepros bridge, if that might change opinions.

I want to avoid any potential problems, as I know some pickups can be a little upset if you put them in the wrong guitar (The JB comes to mind)

Wait for other opinions too, but a C5/59 would be a great combo. My first Duncans, actually. Still got 'em.
