An unusual 3-way wiring diagram for a Custom and a Pearly Gates:

I have a request for a wiring diagram: It’s going to be a guitar with a Custom in the bridge and a Pearly Gates in the neck, a single volume and a 3-way blade switch. The 3-way is going to be like this:
Position 1 (down position): The Custom in series.
Position 2 (middle position): The Pearly Gates in series.
Position 3 (top position): The inner coil of the Pearly Gates.
I would be grateful if someone could draw this up for me.

What 3 way switch are you planning on using? Do you have like a 3 position version of the superswitch? The series part is easy thats no biggy but the split isnt going to happen on a normal 3 way switch your going to have to do something different. You can add a push pull that will let you run all 3 pick up selections split or you can get a 5 way super switch and wire in the 3 more you and plus 2 more like split bridge and both on and split.

NM I think i can do it... I was thinking of it wrong on the switch... as long as you dont want both humbuckers combined. Give me a bit i go an appointment then ill see if i can dig something up for you.

For a CRL-type lever selector switch,

First pole
1 = Custom black
2 = link from 3
3 = PG black and link to 2
C = output to volume pot

Second pole
C = Ground
1 = unused
2 = unused
3 = PG red + white

I've corrected it now... It's the Custom in the brigde and the PG in the neck.
