Regarding Slayer:

They’ve always had a minimum of 24 Marshall cabinets onstage, whenever possible. Right now, they have a total of 58: a wall of 18 on each side and two hanging inverted crucifixes configured from 11 cabs each.

None wouldn't surprise me... Each head feeding an iso box backstage that's amped, and feeding monitors. You've gotta admit, those walls of Marshall cabs do look badass.

Seems like more than two on a side would border on WAY too loud, even for them...:nono:

It sure has the visual impact down cold.

I'm betting most don't have speakers so they are easier to load and unload, especially the inverted crosses hanging up.
