Angled Humbuckers in a strat?

While looking for a new pickguard for my brother's strat, I found myself on WArmoth's site and noticed that they give you the option of getting an angled humbucker in the bridge slot.

What reason is there for this? Will it allow a standard spaced humbucker to line up with a strat's string spacing?

I have to admit, it does look cool.

I think it's just for those who want to have a standard sss kind pup in the bridge for style reasons... but it will probably boost the buckers bass as well...
