Another ebay joker

Well, silly season is really upon us. I've just realised that this is so because of this insane person who has priced a VERY bad relic job (especially fretwear) at a stupid price.

I mean, REAL 70's strats are going for those sort of $ (and even that is high for some of the heavy dead monstrosities that came out during this period)

The other classic part....the Custom shop "Mable" neck.......quite frankly I'm on the verge of reporting this for that lie. I mean some Fender relic jobs are bad, but they are usually reserved for the MIM roadworn ones where they are done to a budget.

Re: Another ebay joker

They are just a rather 'belt sander' type approach to relicing.....poly never relics well.
I'm sure they play just fine

"This is my take on Stevie Ray Vaughans guitar of the 80's. This nails Jimi Hendrix legend tone"

:dot:wut?

Re: Another ebay joker

SRV comment is nothing compared to the fact that this guitar obviously has a normal reliced RH neck installed on a LH body. I didn't know Jimmee Ray Hendvaughrix was a rhythm player ONLY! I think he died of power-chording

Re: Another ebay joker

Yeah, um he strung it for a left handed person, the straplocks are for a right handed person, and it I really wanted a Hendrix guitar, I'd probably get a left handed neck put on so that it actually looks like hendrix. This guy is going to make a few thousand dollars though, and no one will say anything.
