Another Experimental Humbucker Wind-Anybody Up for Predictions?

So an A2 humbucker, screw coil 3K and slug coil 3.2K, so total 6.2K. I'm hoping the low wind will be bright, softened a bit by the A2. I'll throw it in the test sled tomorrow and do a clip.

Anyone want to offer some predictions/opinions/guesses as to what we'll get?

Thanks,

Larry

Edited to add-yep, it's 42AWG PE wire. Thanks for pointing out the omission, Jeremy.

Should be bright and single coiley as eff. I stuck a double thick A2 in a vintage wind and it sounds insane. I think double thick A2 is legit for vintage.

Probably like a brighter, sweeter A2 Pro, less volume, less mids, more treble, anemic bass. Probably sound cool tho. I bet it'd sound neat wired split or in parallel.

I bet you would get some lipstick tones in parallel.

assuming #42 wire. ive done a few neck pups like that, low tpl. it should be bright, clear, and low output. i wouldnt think it would be very much like a single coil. cool neck pup, guessing i wouldnt care for it in the bridge. split and parallel might be pretty weak

For anyone interested, here's the clips. Same models and master output volume from the DAW as the previous clip, and the same three, unaltered, presets: a Fender-ish clean, a Plexi-ish crunch and a JCM-style gain. Playing is a bad guitar player after a long day, so worse even than usual. To be honest, I'm just trying to make a variety of sounds that will show off the tone, rather than worrying about the parts.
As predicted, VERY low output; this would correctly have been mastered much hotter, but since I'm trying to get apples-to-apples comparisons, I'm leaving everything exactly the same.

I'm still trying to get my ears around it, but it's not exactly what I was expecting (other than the output level), although it is bright.

Sounds friggin good. My favorite thing about your 2 pickups is the pureness from them. I was not expecting that from a hobbyist winder.
