Another Floyd question

If i wanted to tune my soloist down half a step[ in standard tuning now] what all would i have to do? I know i would have to tunedown , ajust the spring tension on the tremolo .......is this it ? because im tired of playing along with the same songs and i want to tune it half a step down but i dont really guess this is possible with the floyd rose?

You´d have to reset the intonation if you want it perfect, but if "ballpark Intonation" / "Pro in a 10 minute emergency" is ok, don´t worry

The only other option is to put a wood block inside the trem cavity, so that the trem can be non floating and anchored down.
That would make it easy to transpose between standard and dropped tuning. It's best to have separate guitars tho, because
the intonation does change when you use alternate tunings.
