Hails swap magnet fellows.
how are yah?
Well.... i want to know.... if i swap the BIG FAT CERAMIC magnet from the Invader, and replace it with a (i guess to find a same magnet , same measure,s etc will be a hard task) a5 or a2 magnet....will it give a more pronounced mid/high response from INVADERi n the bridge and keep its awesome bass response?

i think the a5 will just make it muddy. i got no idea about the a2

you'd probably get an angry invader if you put a magnet from a duncan distortion underneath it

I put an A5 in an Invader, and did not really like it. The Invader is about the only guitar related thing I've ever modded and decided I preferred stock.

The magnet in the Distortion and the Invader are both Ceramic and the same size

You have 3 magnets in an Invader, 2 are at the outer sides of the coils.
I think an invader with regular screws and only one big magnet would be close to the distortion.

VERY TRUE INDEED! The invader sounds really nice with those 2 side magnets removed... a bit tamer!

If only my Invader wasn't in a stupid Strat, I'd give this one a shot! (too f*cking many screws to take out plus string removal = I'm happy with it as is )
