Another one off of "The List". (Gibson Firebird Studio)

I've always wanted a Gibson Firebird Studio in Cherry since they came out. Unfortunately, they only made them from 05-08 and I just didn't have the resources then. So I've been on the hunt for a bit searching forums, ebay, craigslist and even Google. So I Google "Gibson Firebird Studio" and the usual comes up, stuff that is talked about in the forums or dealer pages that are WAY out of date. There was one, Brickhouse Music in WI that had mention of a FBS (Firebird Studio) in Cherry that I've seen everytime I Google. So I figure "what the heck". Nothing to lose..so I email them figuring to not get a reply or it's looooong gone. I get a reply the next day,, Not only do they have it still, but its an 05 and it's NOS. After about 2 weeks of emails and selling off of a few items... It's mine! New Case, new guitar (with warranty!). Love it!! Still on a honeymoon with her. As far as looks, it's everything I expected (and a bit more). The sound is just awesome, big, fat, punchy and clear. The neck is my favorite piece of the puzzle so far. It seems wide and big so it fits my large lunch hooks beautifully.

I can't say enough about the customer service at Brickhouse Music in Wisconsin. They were very accommodating, professional and understanding. They asked what gauge and brand of strings I use and how I like my guitars set. I didn't have to change a thing (and I'm a picky MFr!) They did and outstanding job! I'd like to get some better pics in better light but here's two for now....

Check it out, I can't bring myself to take the plastic off of the pickguard yet!

I had thought the same but I was given a 100% moneyback guarantee on satisfaction so I nothing to lose but shipping. I was willing to take that chance and it paid off, I guess it was just sitting there waiting for me to find it!!! Fate??
