I know this may be a bit of a stretch on this forum, but here it goes. As some of you know I went to luthier's school. I bought this violin in bad shape with the intention to fix it. I've spent a bit of time, effort, and new parts putting it back together in playing shape. I realize there are probably close to a billion (ok a bit of an exaggeration) violins on the planet, but not too many of them were made in the 19th century.

I know there are a lot of fathers on the forum who may have children in orchestra. This would be an awesome instrument for your son/daughter at any musical instrument. I personally got my start on cello, and still have my cello. The voice is amazingly loud and clear. And since I set the bridge up properly (instead of where most people just slap one on) the action is nice and easy to play.

So I have it for sale for $600 plus actual shipping. Let me know what kind of trades you might have. (Or trades plus cash.) I am okay with money orders or Paypal, whatever is easiest for you. I am located on the North side of Tampa, in Lutz.

Here's the Craigslist link:

Thanks for taking a peek. Take care.
