Has anyone replaced the bridge pickup in a Fender CS 56 or 60 Strat with an SD Antiquity I Texas Hot (or Custom Bridge) pickup? I'm considering such a swap, and I'm wondering about whether the pickup leads are wired normally (white to switch, black to ground) or need to be flipped to work with the Fender CS 56 or 60 pickups. I've checked with a compass, and these Fender CS pickups are South up polarity, while the SD Antiquity I pickups are North up. I'm hoping to get a hum-cancelling option for the bridge/middle position.

It's pretty confusing all in all. I know that the Antiquity I Strat pickups line up with the Fender CS Texas Special wind and polarity, but I don't know about the other Fender CS pickups. I know that the Ant I and Ant II Strat pickups are different, which just make it harder to know what you're facing in swap.

I finally installed an Antiquity I Strat Custom Bridge pickup in my Fender CS 56 Strat. I had to swap the wiring (black to switch and white to ground) and now it's humcancelling in the B/M position. Unfortunately (and unusually for me) I cut the leads before installing the pickup, but I had just enough extra length to stretch the black lead to the 5-way switch lug. So far I like the tone a lot.
On a sad note, the Antiquity Custom bridge pickup that I have had new in box for a few years wouldn't give me a DC resistance reading, so I have to see about getting that one repaired.
So, to sum up for future reference, the Antiquity I Texas Hot Strat pickups are RP with respect to the Fender CS 56 pickups, but are not RW, so you have to swap the leads with black going to the switch lug and white to ground. I suspect that the situation with the CS 60 pickups is the same (at least the RP is).
