Antiquity for Telecaster®: bridge / 11024-22
I have a great time re-creating the beauty of an early '50s lead pickup Tele®. Using vintage techniques, each pickup is hand-fabricated and scatter-wound. All parts of the pickup are aged and given the look of a pickup played...

Re: Antiquity pickups bridge & neck

I have Antiquity flatpole Tele leads in two Telecasters (one ash/maple, one alder/RW) and the matching neck pickup in one (the alder/RW for now). I also have an ash/maple Tele with the Fender CS Nocaster set. The Nocaster lead pickup has more mids and a steelier sound than the Antiq Lead. The Antiq Lead sounds bigger, and has a great feel because of the A2 mags. I like both of them. The Nocaster neck pickup is brighter and clangier than the Antiq neck pickup. The Antiq neck sounds warmer. I tend to prefer the Nocaster for its more Stratty tone, but the Antiq neck is pretty classic sounding. I may switch it over to the ash/maple Tele with the Antiq lead to see what happens.

BTW, I like the Antiq neck pickup much better than the Alnico 2 Pro or 5-2 neck pickups.
