Any antiquity users here? Just installed mine in my Les Paul traditional and what a difference. Sound and looks. Smooth but can get raunchy if needed.

Yes, I have a set of Ant's, they're very good PU's (certainly better then '57's), but I like Seth's even better. More high-end, more clarity, and more output.

i have antiquity jazzmaster pickups and i can't even imagine a better tone. it has everything i need.

This is my backup guitar, which hosts the following p'ups:



I've converted'em to 4-conductor, I've modded'em with UOA5 mags and I've "un-reliced" the original covers.

Pretty satisfied with the outcome for the last three years...

I've been listening to the sound clips on the Duncan site. And the Seth Lovers came in a close second to the Antiquity p'ups. The Antiquity just sounds great compared to the original Burstbucker 3 that came factory.

That's a sweet axe. You must be good with wiring to do those mods

Problem with any soundclips is that they're using different guitars/woods/amps/speakers than you are, so you can't assume you'll be able to duplicate what you hear. Odds are you can't. PU's can sound very different one guitar to the next, even in the same model of guitar due to variations in wood grain, density, mineral content, water content, etc. And when you take into account the various guitar designs (solid, chambered, semi-hollow, hollow); the types of woods used in the body, neck, and fretboard; and the various kinds of amps... so many variables in the tone equation.
