Any CUBASE EXPERTS here? MIDI recording frustration!

Is anyone here familiar with using MIDI recording functions on Cubase?

I just installed SE and am having some MIDI-related problems.

Basically, when I select a MIDI channel, I can't access any of the MIDI Editor functions: Drum, Key, Score, and List Editors!

Any help would be appreciated!

(I'm running it on Windows XP)
