Two ideas for you:
1) I use Acid Loops Drum Loops from
Smart Loops and I get pretty good results. They aren't synthesized drums, but actually recordings of drums that can be looped.
2) Go down to Maytan Music on Center St and ask if you can post an ad for a drummer to help you out. They do that kind of stuff for their customers and I bet you'll find someone that would be more than happy to help you.
Honestly, my son might be interested after school gets out (he'll be graduating from Carson High in a month). If you have a place to record, he could pack up his drums and get to Sparks no problem. I probably shouldn't speak for him, but he does have a little experience recording.
I don't use him because it's such a pain to set up the recording equipment for a drum kit and the loops go together so much faster.
