Any fans of Lollar pickups?

I just installed a Special in the bridge and a Vintage in the neck of my Tele and hooked them up to a 4 way switch. I think I'm in love.

Re: Any fans of Lollar pickups?

I've heard great things about his P-90's - but have never used any of his pickups.

Re: Any fans of Lollar pickups?

I alway thought about getting his humbucker sized P90

Description
Single coil tones from a humbucker-size pickup. Our SCFH offers a very P90-ish tonality, with a bit more "airiness" and a touch less mid range. The output is similar to a P90, with enhanced clarity and chime. It retains some of the grit and "juiciness" of a P90, while allowing for installation in a humbucker rout with little or no modifications. Alnico2 magnets. Sold as singles or sets. Single conductor, braided shield lead wire. Available in chrome or gold (add $10) open top mounting rings and matte black, gloss black or tortoise top. Neck 9.7K, Bridge 10.8K

Sounds really tasty!

I use an Imperial in the bridge and Firebird mini in the neck of my strat. Absolutely amazing. Love my Lollar's!

Re: Any fans of Lollar pickups?

I have a set of Imperial humbuckers. They have the most "woman tone" that I have heard so far. Not that I found a use for that yet :D

I also have a Lollar Blonde which I have to re-test.

One of my guitar teachers had a tele with lollars in them. It was the best sounding tele I have ever heard.
