Any interest in my Edwards Alexi Laiho V?

Seymour Duncan Customer Support
I don't find myself playing this much anymore, as my band changes tunings a few times during our live set and I'm sort of moving away from the whole Floyd thing these days...

I'm not 100% sure I want to sell it, but I would entertain reasonable offers and trades for an ash-bodied USA Tele or various USA Hamers...

It's in excellent shape. No EMG afterburner - I have a Duncan JB in there now but would put the EMG H4 back in if a deal goes down and the buyer wants it instead of the JB.

Very nice guitar man. If i hadnt just bought a Jackson RR-24 a couple of months ago i would definitely buy this one off of you. Good luck with the sale.

Re: Any interest in my Edwards Alexi Laiho V?

I would be interested to see someone loose an eye with one of it's massive points...remember, it's all fun and games until someone looses an eye on a pointy shredder guitar...

I don't know how to shread or what that even is ;), but for a shredder guitar this one is hard to beat. :)

Re: Any interest in my Edwards Alexi Laiho V?

This thing is definitely on the block. Ash Tele GAS has hit hard.

Info on the guitar -

Specs:
  • Three-piece maple neck through with alder wings
  • Dark, gorgeous ebony fretboard
  • 25.5" scale
  • Original Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo
  • Seymour Duncan JB or EMG H4 (passive) bridge pickup
  • "Saw Tooth" inlays
  • Cream binding on neck matches the wicked pinstripes on the body

This is a great guitar. It sounds huge - very loud and resonant unplugged, good sustain, and the action is stupid-low with no buzzing. The Floyd stays in tune forever. Thanks to the heavy-duty construction this guitar is very stable and pretty much ignores changes in weather / humidity. Frets show no wear. This thing is the perfect example of high-quality Japanese construction. The fit and finish are, and I say this with total honestly, FLAWLESS. Certain US manufacturers wish they could do finish and binding work this clean.

There is a slight scuff on the point of the long wing, but it's not a chip or a crack and would probably rub right out.

I love this thing but I just don't find myself using it much anymore. I bought it because I wanted an asymmetrical V, but I need Tele tones and this guitar is sort of redundant to my Carvin CT4C, so off it goes. I'd like to sell it here before sending it to the 'Bay.

It comes with the original gig bag and all the trimmings - alan wrenches, truss rod wrench, papers, etc.

$900.00 +shipping snags it.

I would also entertain trades for an Ash Tele or likely a cool USA Hamer with P-90s or something.

Thanks for looking.

But you have a few teles you could trade. Hehehe!

Is Brisk getting gas for a shredder?

Re: Any interest in my Edwards Alexi Laiho V?

Mornin' bumpola.

Know what? I'm never gonna use this EMG if whoever buys the guitar wants the JB.

So you'll get both.

Re: Any interest in my Edwards Alexi Laiho V?

If I don't get any interest this morning I'm gonna have to assume that the 'Bay is the best way to go here.

Thanks for looking!
