Any Intrest, 80's Ibanez Roadstar II ?

A friend just gave me this. I'm never gonna use it, Although it appears to be a very well made guitar. It's got a chunky U shaped neck. The strings are dead ,But it plays very good. The PuPs don't do anything for me,And the 5 way switch seems to have a dead spot or needs to be replaced? SOLD !!

The frets are vintage style thin and have plenty of life in em'.
BTW, When I 1st got this, I though it was a beater and was gonna use it to practice my Refreting skills. But after playing it for 5 minutes I realized... This Ain't No Beater!

For those that don't know these are actually very well made guitars. the quality is many worlds ahead of the MI? that says Ibanez these days! Great guitar, great price!

It's been a few months and I still have this thing.:eek13: I'm tried of looking at it, So it's priced to sell. I have no case or gig bag for it, So it will be double boxed and shipped Fedex.

My first electric guitar....EVER....was one of those....in that color....but with a black pickguard and black pickup covers.

Had I known about this when I still had a job....this post would of been a PM and the deal would of been done.

I love everything about this... the color, the maple neck/fretboard, if only Ibanez had this guitar only HSS with an Ibanez Edge.

Don't think they ever made a maple fretboard version of the RS with an Edge or did they?

Somebody buy this thing....for the $...yeesh...

KMC put it up on Ebay, Bro...there's a big loyal roadstar contingent out there..I suspect you could get quite a bit more than what you are asking.

yeah, Allan Holdsworth played these, if it was good for him it could be good for me but I am across the ocean and it would cost me more to get it shipped here and pay for the import duties..
good luck, as said above, you might get more than 150$ on Ebay

I bought the same guitar for my daughter ( but different single pickups with no plastic cover ) and it is a very good axe , builded for life , very resonnant , with lots of mids , probably better than 75% of strats .
Just put a set of new classic stacks in it and you'll have a dream axe .
