i have owned the 36' coupe 1x12 in blue for maybe 1 and a half or two years. maybe more but i cant remember. even when i upgrade to a marshall plexi i will keep this baby beside me. an absolutely beautiful sounding (or brutal sounding, its versatile) amp that is criminally overlooked.
i really like how much it responds to tube changes too, changes the amp into a whole new beast, but it always sounds great. in the future when i can afford a dual amp live setup i will use an A/B box and probably use this amp for all my solos or for when i want a unique rhythm sound. its a good thing mastodon's Crack the Skye album is really influencing my riffs right now, because this amp gets me those tones perfectly
i think my only gripe is i would have preferred more knobs over the philosophy of assigning one knob multiple functions. its hard for my brain to accurately anticipate how the interactive eq will respond, especially with certain power tubes. wiht the russian tubes i'm using right now the eq is pretty tricky and fussy, but i've discovered one of my best tones yet with them
