Any one using the Tremol-No ?

I am thinking on getting one of these

Is it stable? Did you get into any kind of problems when using it? Does it affect the "usage" of your trem bridge? What kind of brdige are you using?

I have one on my number 1 guitar, and it does it's job well if you set it up right. I love mine.

I used one in my Charvel and I use one in my Jackson now. Both have standard Floyd trems.

I think they're great. Very easy to install and very stable. You do have to pay attention to how it is set up. The one on my Jackson kept slipping, but that was because I didn't have it lined up right. Once I fixed that, no slippage.

As for it affecting trem usage I don't think it does at all. In full floating it feels just like you don't have it on. (Unless you don't have it set up right) I usually use it in dive only mode though.

Overall great product, I'd highly recommend it.

Not a bad product. Easy to install, set up and use, and does exactly as described.

I have one flying around somewhere that I may actually use someday when my hands get filled with lead and I start needing it

The only issue I've had in putting it on multiple guitars was one guitar where there wasn't enough room for it to fit in the cavity.

Have used it and like it. I stopped messing with the D-tunas so I have no more need for them so now I have 2 Tremol-no units sitting around in the original packaging. Drop me a line if interested. Both are pin type.

Rock solid.

I installed one in my Yamaha YSG. (A sort of pre-PRS from the early Eighties.) The stock Yamaha vibrato is terrible. Nothing else fits on its pivot post spacing. The only option was to block the thing off. The Tremol-No has been doing the job for five years now.

I've had one on my Am. Strat with stock bridge for about 6 years now. No problems at all.

I've tried one that a friend had, but found it to be of no use.

If, for some dumb reason, I insisted on using a Strat in various tunings throughout a set, I'd use one.

I use a WD trem stabilizer, similar concept, slightly different execution.

I have the stabilizer set inside of the middle spring. It keeps the claw and block a minimum distance apart for stable tuning, so if tension drops from downtuning or a broken string, the rest of the strings do not sharpen. For raising pitch, the claw actually slides a bit on the trem screws. It's not technically a "floating" trem, but I can still raise and lower pitch. It is more stiff than a true floating FR bridge, but way more tuning stability is the result.

I've used them on several guitars with good results every time. The very first one I had was from the first run, right after the product was introduced, and the pin that held the clamp to the arm had some play in it and would rattle when locked, but the others I've had were much better and didn't do that.

You don't feel it at all when it's not locked, and it's basically required if you change tunings with any regularity.
