I'd like to see if any of you could suggest what you'd use in this situation. I'm currently working on a new project guitar that will be different from my other Strat Copy that has Stacked Single Coils in it.
I will soon be playing in a Soul, Funk, Blues, and R&B Group, and the genre's listed are those in which I play primarily. I have a Yamaha EG112C2 Which is basically another Import Strat Copy that I picked up for $20 bucks from a friend. I work at a Music Retailer and I have already replaced most of the used parts for new one's but I'm stuck trying to figure out what Config, I want to do with it.
I was thinking a HH or a HS or even a HSS configuration but is there anyone who plays the same Genre's listed above who can tell me what P/U's they would use in my situation? I was thinking about the Hot Rodded Humbucker Set or one of the following three P/U's SH-1, Sh-4JB, or ST59-1 with a Tele Lead P/U in the Bridge.
